NWC working to restore water to Mountpelier, Hanover by Tuesday

2013-03-16 08:45:25 | (0 Comments)

The National Water Commission (NWC) says it is working to restore regular water supply to customers in Mountpelier, Hanover by Tuesday.

The company says the disruption is as a result of electrical challenges at the Sandy Bay Relift station in the parish.

In the meantime, the NWC is advising that due to mechanical challenges, the Thatch Hill pumping station in St Ann is currently out of operation.

Customers in Mile End, Union, Lodge and Four Road are, therefore, experiencing a disruption in their water supply.

The NWC says it is working to restore normalcy at the Thatch Hill pumping station by Friday, March 22.

The NWC is urging customers to be patient and says it will provide updates on both situations.
