Three more schools are to be taken off the shift system when the new academic year begins in September.
The schools are Holy Trinity High, in Kingston; Glengoffe High in St Catherine; and Anchovy High in St James.
This was announced by Minister of Education, Ronald Thwaites, during a back-to-school press conference at the Office of the Prime Minister in Kingston, yesterday.
He indicated that over time, more schools will be removed from the system being used by institutions to accommodate a larger number of students.
