Fumes force mandatory evacuation at RJR

The staff of RJR Group on Lyndhurst Road in Kingston has been forced to evacuate the building because of petroleum-based fumes.
The mandatory evacuation order was issued shortly before noon.
So far, there has been no report of injuries.
However, with the evacuation, the emergency protocol has been imposed at the media group and its radio and television stations are now on automated operation.
At present members of the Jamaica Fire Brigade and the National Environment and Planning Agency are on location.
