FOOTBALL: 2013 schoolboy football season starts September 7

A double-header at the Montego Bay Sports Complex on Saturday, September 7, will signal the start of the 2013 schoolboy football season.
Defending Manning Cup champions St Georgeís College and Camperdown will contest the opening match of the season.
That match is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
The second match of the double-header features a daCosta Cup showdown between defending champions Glenmuir High against Denbigh High.
That match is set to begin at 5 p.m.
Forty-two schools will contest the Manning Cup, while 83 teams will compete in the daCosta Cup.
The competition will have a new sponsor as telecommunications firm LIME has signed a five-year deal with the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association worth $150 million.
