The trial of the three Jamaicans and three Costa Ricans on drug related charges has again been pushed back.
The matter could not proceed in court yesterday as the prosecution and defense were not ready.
The trial has been rescheduled to September 9.
This is the third time that the trial has been pushed back.
Jamaicans Romaina Royce, Fitzroy Mcleod and Aaron Dixon are charged with possession of, dealing in, taking steps to export, conspiracy to export and using premises for storage and distribution of ganja.
They are jointly charged with Costa Ricans Harris Walton, Dean Berry and Carlton Francios Gomes Cartes.
It is reported that on June 17, police from the Area 3 Transnational Crime and Narcotics Division took the men into custody following the seizure of approximately half ton of cured compressed ganja, which was found in a tank found at a house in Morningside, in St Elizabeth.
Six-hundred gallons of gasoline were also seized.
