Space shortage at Fellowship Primary and Junior High in Portland
2013-09-02 13:01:33 | (0 Comments)
Administrators at the Fellowship Primary and Junior High School in Portland were hard pressed to find space for students who turned up for classes this morning.
A senior teacher at the school told our news centre that some 70 students showed up with their parents.
The teacher says the education ministry had sent a list 60 students to the school, however, only 35 students showed up for orientation.
The educator says provisions where only made for those 35 students.
School administrators had to be creative this morning to find spaces for the other students.
There is only one grade 7 classroom at that school.
There was a smooth start of school activities at other institutions in the parish.
