Former Prime Minister P.J. Patterson is defending Jamaican sprinter Veronica Campbell-Brown in her doping case.
The hearing into the positive test for a diuretic began this morning at the offices of Attorney-at-Law Winston Spaulding in St Andrew.
The hearing, which continues tomorrow, was adjourned after two-and-a-half hours.
On June 14, it was revealed that Campbell-Brown was tested positive for a banned substance which may be regarded as a masking agent for performance-enhancing substances.

The panel for the in camera hearing comprises Justice Lensely Wolfe, chairman, Major General John Simmonds, and Dr Aggrey Irons.
The panelists are members of the disciplinary committee of the Jamaica Athletics Administration Association.
