ATHLETICS: Bolt, Gatlin showdown in Brussels today

Global sprint legend Usain Bolt and Shell-Ann Fraser-Pryce are among 14 Jamaicans down to compete at the season ending Diamond League meeting in Brussels, Belgium today.

Bolt, winner of six Olympic gold medals and eight World Championships gold medals, will compete in the menís 100 metres, set to start 1:45 p.m. Jamaica time.
His choice to run the 100 metres means he will renew his rivalry with American Justin Gatlin over the distance, as the World Championships gold and silver medal winners will clash once more.
The field also includes two other Jamaicans.
They are Nesta Carter, the Moscow World Championships bronze medallist and Kemar Bailey-Cole.
Moscow World Championships triple gold medallist Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is down to run the womenís 100 metres along with her Jamaican teammates Carrie Russell and Kerron Stewart.
That race is set to begin at 1:13 p.m.
Moscow World Championships 200-metre silver medallist Warren Weir and his Jamaican teammates Raheed Dwyer and Nickel Ashmeade are down to compete in the menís 200 metres; while Stephanie McPherson and Novlene Williams-Mills will run in the womenís 400†metres.
Kimberly Williams will be the first Jamaican in action as she competes in the womenís triple jump at 11:15 a.m.
The other Jamaicans down to compete are Nicholas Maitland and Edino Steele in the menís 400†metres.
