The Meteorological Service is warning Jamaicans to expect increased rainfall and thunderstorms today.
The Met Service says a Trough, currently across the central Caribbean is expected to move towards the west and bring more unstable weather to Jamaica and its coastal waters.
It says a gradual improvement is expected tomorrow as the Trough moves across the western Caribbean and approaches the Yucatan Peninsula.
Fishers and other small craft operators are being warned to exercise caution today as strong gusty winds are expected in the vicinity of showers and thunderstorms.
