Man who absconded bail for 2 yrs to go to court today

Forty -year-old labourer Cyrel Francis, who absconded bail for two years on a sexual offence charge, is to be brought before the court today.
Francis was picked up by the police last week.
He’s to appear in the St Catherine Circuit Court.
It’s alleged that in 2011 Francis was charged with having sexual intercourse with a person under age sixteen.
He was taken to court and was later granted bail.
The police say he then went into hiding for two years before he was recaptured.
