Traffic changes ahead of PNP's 75th Annual Conference tomorrow

The police have advised of traffic changes ahead of the People’s National Party (PNP) 75th Annual Conference, which will be held at the National Arena on Sunday, September 22. The traffic changes will take effect at 7:00 a.m..
Arthur Wint Drive will be operated as a one-way.
Only vehicles conveying patrons will be allowed to turn from Mountain View Avenue onto Arthur Wint Drive. All other vehicles including JUTC buses traveling along the lower section will continue straight along Mountain View Avenue.
No parking will be allowed along the roadway.
VIP’s and officials will enter park at the Indoors Sports Complex parking area.
General public will enter through the National Stadium Car Park.
The Police are advising delegates and supporters that no firearms, knives, drugs, ice picks, machetes, walking stick umbrellas, glass bottles or any other item that can be used to cause serious harm or injury, will be allowed inside the venue. All persons entering the venue will be subject to search.
Further, no vending will be allowed outside of the designated areas.
No provision will be made for the storage of prohibited or restricted items at any of the venues. Licenced firearm holders are being advised to leave their weapons with the local police or make alternative arrangements for safekeeping.
