The Jamaica Under-21 Netball Team, which recently completed at the World Youth Netball Championships in Glasgow, Scotland, will donate an 18th century map of Jamaica to the National Library of Jamaica.
A ceremony to hand over the historic map of Jamaica will take place today at the National Library of Jamaica.
Marva Bernard, the President of the Jamaica Netball Association, will accompany the young Sunshine Girls to the ceremony.
The 18th century map was a gift given to the national team by Professor Emeritus Godfrey Palmer of Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland during the World Youth Netball Championships.
Palmer, a Jamaican, watched the third place play-off match between Jamaica and archrivals England on September 1.
Jamaica captured the bronze medal by defeating England 52-33.
