Chemical spill reported on Kenhill Drive, Kingston

The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM), says clean-up efforts are underway following a chemical spill in the vicinity of Pembroke Hall, Kingston.
Reports are that 380 gallons of liquid cleaner containing hydrochloric acid leaked from a container transporting the chemical.
A team from the Jamaica Fire Brigade and the National Environmental Planning Agency (NEPA) were dispatched to the area.
The leak spread from Kenhill Drive onto Marlie Mount Drive, before it was contained.
In a release ODPEM states that the area has been secured and the chemical neutralized.
