The second four-day match between West Indies ‘A’ and hosts India ‘A’ will begin tonight at 11 p.m. Jamaica time in Shimago.
West Indies ‘A’ will be looking to wrap up the three-match series after winning the opening match by 162 runs in Mysore to take a 1-0 lead.
Spinners Nikita Miller of Jamaica and Guyanese Veerasammy Permaul set up victory for the West Indies ‘A’ team.
The spinners exploited a slow pitch and shared 19 wickets between them to bowl out the hosts for 152 on the final day.
Left-arm spinner Miller, who ended with match figures of nine for 101 off 71.4 overs, is backing himself to deliver against in the second match.
India A captain Cheteshwar Pujara conceded that poor strategy caused them to lose the first match.
Pujara has admitted that his decision to bowl first had backfired and that condition did not assist their decision to use three seamers for the match.
