New Zealand women’s cricketers are now gearing up for their only practice match before the tough Caribbean series against the West Indies.
The New Zealand cricketers, who arrived in Jamaica yesterday, will play the only practice match against Jamaica’s Under-17 male team tomorrow at Up Park Camp.
Katrina Keenan, coach of the New Zealand Women's cricket team, is expecting a very tough series.
The series includes a Jamaica leg, which starts on Sunday at Sabina Park.
The Jamaica leg comprises three One-Day Internationals.
The other matches at Sabina Park will be played on October 8 and 10.
New Zealand’s tour will also feature a Twenty20 tri-series, which also includes England.
Keenan says the New Zealand selectors have compiled a balanced team for the series.
