Gina Hargitay has big plans for Miss World Caribbean title

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Youth and Culture, Sydney Bartley, welcoming Miss Jamaica World 2013 Gina Hargitay, at the Norman Manley International Airport yesterday.
Miss Jamaica World 2013 Gina Hargitay returned to the island yesterday after attending the Miss World finals in Bali, Indonesia, on September 28.
Hargitay was named among the top 10 finalists at the pageant and also walked away with the title of Miss World Caribbean.
The 5'10" beauty told The Gleaner that she was "happy to be home".
"I am happy to see my friends, and very grateful for the support that I have been receiving from them and my social media followers."
Eighteen-year-old Hargitay, whose goal is to own her own company after completing a history degree, has big plans for the prestigious Miss World Caribbean title.
She said: "It is a great honour to continue the Jamaican tradition of taking home the Miss World Caribbean title and I want to start using it to promote youth empowerment."
Hargitay was named Miss World Jamaica 2013 on July 21 at the Montego Bay Convention Centre in St James.
