A police source has confirmed that Monday’s abduction of two men from their Kirkland Heights, St Andrew home may have been ordered.
Twenty-seven-year-old St Andrew businessman Curtis Martin and recent university graduate, 25-year-old Mario Daley, were reportedly abducted at gunpoint about 8:30 Monday evening.
The source disclosed that two men and a woman first took the businessman from the house, before going back for the University of Technology (UTech) graduate.
It is understood that Martin’s involvement in a relationship may be the reason behind the abduction.
The police would not confirm whether it was a business or personal relationship.
The police say they are following strong leads as they seek to locate the men.
Daley graduated from the UTech last year, while Martin is said to be the owner of CJM Metals in St Andrew.
A female who also shared the premises was found tied up.
A major police team is also probing a case of robbery at the premises.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Mario Daley and Curtis Martin is being asked to contact the Red Hills Police at 945-8270 or the Constant Spring Police at 924-1435 or the nearest police station.
