Commuters travelling on the highway this morning were once again stuck in traffic for hours.
There was bumper-to-bumper traffic from the six miles bridge heading in the western direction that merged into a single lane, to accommodate a bus lane heading from Spanish town this morning.
This morning's dry run comes ahead of Friday's start of a three month trial for the new bus lane.
The move is part of efforts to ease the flow of traffic along the busy thoroughfare.
The bus company was hoping that this morning's dry run would have been better than last week's experiment which drew complaints from commuters about further delays in getting to work.
