2013-10-30 13:08:25 | (0 Comments)
The police yesterday postponed the questioning of two suspects in relation to last week’s abduction of two men from their Kirkland Heights, St Andrew premises.
Twenty-seven-year-old businessman, Curtis Martin, and 25-year-old University of Technology graduate, Mario Daley, were abducted from their home at gunpoint about 8:30 p.m. October 21.
The Gleaner/Power 106 News Centre understands that the two suspects have been in police custody since Sunday.
An investigator told our News Centre that the questioning could not proceed yesterday afternoon because of several issues including legal representation for one of the suspects.
It is not yet clear when the interviews will take place.
A police source has said the cooperation of the two suspects could result in a major breakthrough in the abduction case.
The police had indicated they were pursuing at least four persons, including a woman, in relation to the case.
The police have revealed that the abduction may have been ordered.
The police are asking anyone with information on the men’s whereabouts to contact the Red Hills Police at 945-8270, the Constant Spring Police at 924-1425 or the nearest police station.
