2013-10-31 12:53:11 | (0 Comments)
The Cuban light bulb trial, which has been dogged by delays in recent weeks, finally resumed this morning in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court.
This morning retired deputy superintendent Errington Malcolm and defense attorney K.D. Knight sparred over how an arrest warrant for Colleen Wright was executed.
The proceedings are still underway at this hour.
Wright and former junior energy minister Kern Spencer are on trial on corruption and money laundering charges.
They are accused of benefiting improperly from the implementation of the Cuban light bulb project.
