NWC work to interrupt Port Antonio traffic flow
2013-11-02 08:38:10 | (0 Comments)
The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising members of the public there will be some changes to the flow of traffic in Port Antonio, Portland, next week.
According to the NWC, as of 8 o’clock Monday morning Harbour Street will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic for a period of five weeks.
The NWC said all traffic will be diverted to Gideon Avenue and Foreshore Road will operate as a dual carriage from West Street to Allan Avenue.
It said the changes are being implemented to facilitate major installation of pipelines now being undertaken by the NWC under the Port Antonio Water, Sewerage and Drainage Project.
