The trough across the island expected to linger through to the weekend. This trough is induced by Tropical Storm Julia located north of the Bahamas.

Tonight will be partly cloud. Tomorrow will also be partly cloudy across sections of northern parishes while sunny elsewhere.

Jamaicans should expect widely scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms mainly across hilly areas of most parishes.

Minimum temperature expected for Kingston tonight is expected to be 26 degrees Celsius while for Montego Bay, 24 degrees Celsius.

3-DAY FORECAST(starting tomorrow)

Saturday Sunny morning expected widely scattered showers and thunderstorms mainly across central and western parishes.

Sunday Sunny morning there should be isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms mainly across hilly areas of most parishes.

On Monday expect scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms across sections of most parishes.
