There is a trough west of Jamaica. The Trough is expected to remain across the region until next week. Currently, a cold front west of Cuba is expected to move across the island on Saturday. Therefore, expect an increase in rainfall across sections of the island this weekend, especially on Saturday and Sunday.

This morning; expect partly cloudy conditions with isolated showers mainly across eastern and central parishes. Later on, expect scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms across sections of most parishes with lingering showers with possible thunderstorms in the night. Maximum temperature expected for Kingston today is 31 degrees Celsius and for Montego Bay, 32 degrees Celsius.

3-DAY FORECAST (starting tomorrow)

Saturday and Sunday expect cloudy skies with periods of showers and thunderstorms.
Monday, expect isolated morning showers eastern parishes with scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms across most parishes.
