There is a trough across Jamaica and the Central Caribbean. The persistent Trough lingers across Jamaica and the central Caribbean through to the weekend. Unstable conditions with outbreaks of showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue affecting the island through to the weekend.

This Morning will be mostly cloudy with outbreaks of showers mainly across eastern and central parishes. In the afternoon, expect cloudy skies with outbreaks of showers and thunderstorms across sections of most parishes. Tonight will be partly cloudy with isolated showers. Maximum temperature expected for Kingston today will be 30 degrees Celsius while in
Montego Bay, 31 degrees Celsius.

3-DAY FORECAST (starting tomorrow)
Thursday will be cloudy with widely scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms across most parishes.

Friday will be cloudy with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms across eastern and central parishes.
Saturday expect a partly cloudy morning over eastern parishes with scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms.

Other Current Regional Weather Features
There is a Tropical Wave across the south-central Caribbean with an area of low pressure developing across the western Caribbean.
