There is a High Pressure Ridge across Jamaica and the central Caribbean. The High Pressure Ridge is expected to remain across the region, until a Tropical Wave moves across the island on Wednesday.


This morning will be mainly sunny. This afternoon, expect widely scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms across central and western parishes and hilly areas of eastern parishes. Tonight will be partly cloudy. Maximum temperature expected for Kingston and Montego Bay tonight is 34 degrees Celsius.

3-DAY FORECAST (after tomorrow):

On Wednesday expect isolated morning showers across eastern parishes with scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms. It will be windy across sections of southern coastal areas.

Thursday will be mainly sunny in the morning with widely scattered afternoon showers mainly across central and western parishes.

Friday will be mostly cloudy in the morning across eastern parishes with widely scattered afternoon showers.
