A Tropical Wave is moving across Jamaica. As the Tropical Wave moves west of the island later tonight, expect a High Pressure Ridge to build across the island temporarily, ahead of another Tropical Wave expected to move across the island on Saturday.

This morning, expect partly cloudy skies across sections of eastern parishes, elsewhere mainly sunny. This afternoon, expect widely scattered afternoon showers and isolated thunderstorms. Tonight will be fair.

Saturday: Partly cloudy morning across eastern parishes. Widely scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms across sections of most parishes.

Sunday: Partly cloudy across eastern parishes, elsewhere mainly sunny. Scattered afternoon showers across most parishes. Windy along the coastal areas.

Monday: Scattered afternoon showers across most parishes. Windy along the coastal areas.
