There is a High Pressure Ridge across Jamaica. It is expected to remain across Jamaica through to Thursday night. A Cold Front is then expected to move into the vicinity of the island early Friday morning and linger throughout the weekend.

This morning is partly cloudy mainly across eastern parishes, while mainly sunny elsewhere. This afternoon, expect isolated showers in sections of northwestern and hilly inland areas, otherwise partly cloudy conditions. Tonight will be fair. Windy along the south coast.


Maximum temperature expected for Kingston and Montego Bay is 30C.


3-DAY FORECAST (starting tomorrow):

Thursday: Mostly sunny morning. Partly cloudy afternoon mainly across eastern parishes. Windy especially across southern parishes.

Friday/Saturday: Cloudy and cool with intermittent showers across most parishes.
