NWC customers served by the Tavistock Tank in the corporate area are currently experiencing low water pressure or no water due to operational challenges affecting the facility.
Affected areas include: Millsborough Avenue, Millborough Crescent, Linnamon Crescent and surrounding areas.
Repairs are being carried out and restoration of service is expected by 6:00am on Friday, September 21, 2012.
Meanwhile customers in August Town, Hope Flats, Papine, Gordon Town, Mona Heights, Hope Road, Beverly Hills, Hope Pastures, Kintyre and Hope Flats are presently experiencing a disruption in service.
This is due to high turbidity or heavy mud flows affecting the Hope Filter Plant. Regular service is expected to be restored by 6 o’clock this evening.
The NWC regrets any inconvenience caused.
