Water disruptions in St. Andrew and sections of Clarendon

National Water Commission | 2012-11-12 00:00:00

National Water Commission customers in sections of St. Andrew who are served by the Chancery Hall water supply system are being advised that the disruption they have been experiencing in their service is due to fluctuations in the power supply on the system.

The company is reporting that every effort is being made to restore normal operations at earliest time possible.

Areas affected by this disruption include:

Havendale, Meadowbrook, sections of Molynes, Forest Hill Gardens, Queensborough, Lady Hamilton Drive, Van Guard, sections of Michigan Avenue, Lord Nelson Drive, Horatio Drive, Ellesmere Drive, Flagstaff, To-Gallant Close, Quarter Deck and sections of East Kirkland Heights.

In the meantime, customers in Chatteau and Bird’s Hill who are served by the Chatteau Relift Station in Clarendon will experience an interruption in their water supply on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm.  This disruption in service is to facilitate mechanical works that are to be carried out on the relift station.   Customers served by this facility are therefore being urged to store water for use during the period of disruption.

The National Water Commission apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
