Scheduled water disruption for sections of St. Catherine & Corporate area

 Customers in St. Catherine who are served by the Nutshell Relift Station are being advised that the system will be taken out of operation for the period Monday, December 3, 2012 through to Wednesday, December 5, 2012. This downtime in operation is to facilitate urgent mechanical works that will be carried out on the system.

Areas that will be affected include:  Cotton Piece, Charliemount Housing Scheme, White House Housing Scheme, Orangefield Village, Ewarton, sections of Mount Rosser, Waterloo, Bennett Shop, Old Mount Diablo, Charlton Housing Scheme, Lluidas Vale Main Road, Cassava Pond, Leslie Road and Polly Ground.

In the meantime, customers in the corporate area who are served by the Constant Spring Treatment Plant will experience a disruption in their water supply on Thursday, December 6, 2012 between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm due to maintenance works that will be carried out on the plant.

Areas that will be impacted include: Constant Spring Road and all roads leading off, Norbrook, Cherry Gardens, Havendale, Half Way Tree, Manor Park, Shortwood Road and all roads leading off, Graham Heights, Aylsham, Allerdyce, Acadia, Red Hills Road and all roads leading off, White Hall Gardens, Belgrade, Kingswood, Riva Ridge, Eastwood Park Gardens, Stillwell Road and surrounding areas.

Customers served by both the Nutshell and Constant Spring systems are encouraged to store water for use during the mentioned periods of disruption.

The National Water Commission sincerely regrets any inconvenience that may be caused by these necessary works and will endeavor to restore water supply within the specified times.
