In follow up to a previously issued advisory regarding downtime in operations at the Frazer’s Content and Brown’s Well water supply systems in St. Catherine, the National Water Commission is reporting that these systems remain out of operation and that service will not be restored today as was expected. This delay in restoration is due to technical difficulties being experienced.
Areas served by these facilities include: Ebony Vale, Friendship Housing Scheme, Fairview Park, Paul Mountain, Frazers Content, Dark Hole, Banana Hole, Sections of Kitson Town, Paul Mountain, Top Mountain and Old Road.
The National Water Commission sincerely regrets any inconvenience caused and is working assiduously to restore water supply to these areas within the shortest possible time. Further updates will be provided in this regard.
