The National Water Commission is advising customers in sections of St. Thomas who are served by the Goodyear Well that the disruption they are currently experiencing in their water supply is as a result of extensive mechanical problems at the facility.
Areas affected by this interruption in service include: Morant Bay, Lyssons, Prospect, Retreat, Duhaney Pen, Rosselle, Stanton Road, Highbury, Seaforth, Alexander Park, Springfield, Dumfries and surrounding areas.
The National Water Commission apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this disruption and wishes to assure that every effort is being made to restore water supply to the affected areas by Saturday, January 19, 2013.
