The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising customers in Coffee Grove, Manchester that the disruption they are experiencing is as a result of electrical challenges at the Coffee Grove Booster Station in the parish.
The NWC is assuring customers in Coffee Grove that every effort is being made to resolve the challenges and resume operations at the facility by March 8, 2013.
At the same time, the NWC is advising that due to mechanical challenges, the # 3 pump at the Malvern facility in St. Elizabeth is currently out of operation. Customers in Milksham, Red Bank, Portsea and St. Mary are therefore experiencing a disruption in their water supply.
The NWC will provide updates and, as an interim measure, truck water to the areas served by both systems.
The NWC apologises for any inconvenience caused and craves the patience of its valued customers.
