Appleton Estate Reserve Launches 200ML in time for CPL

Kingston, Jamaica: Wednesday, July 29, 2014: Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum Reserve, one of the most premium expressions of rum made in Jamaica, will now sport a smaller size for sale in time for the 2014 Edition of the Caribbean Premier League.   Presenting Sponsors of the Jamaica Tallawahs, Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum, has launched a 200ml size for its Appleton Estate Reserve, which is currently receiving a soft launch in select on-trade style bars.

This new trade move by J. Wray & Nephew Limited coincides with its ongoing Make It A Double promotional campaign for Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum running during the course of the 2014 CPL matches. Jamaica will be hosting CPL games at the Sabina Park on July 31, August 2, and August 3. The Jamaica Tallawahs will be playing the Antigua Hawksbills, Guyana Amazon Warriors, and the Barbados Tridents on these dates respectively.

Speaking on the latest development of the Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum brand, Cecil Smith, Group Brand Manager for Owned Rums at J. Wray & Nephew Limited stated:

We expect our consumers to be enjoying the new product size while watching Jamaica Tallawahs games in the CPL this season and after.”
