No fire at Riverton Disposal Site says NSWMA

Reports have been circulating that there is a fire at the Riverton Disposal Site. We have conducted a thorough inspection of the Riverton Disposal Site and all facilities and assure the public that there is no fire.
Smoke seen emanating from the environs of the Riverton Community is caused by the burning of Cane in the nearby fields.
