Water Supply disruption affects sections of St.James and St.Ann

National Water Commission | 2012-04-12 15:44:00

The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising customers in Fairfield, Tucker Irwin, Irwin South, sections of Granville and sections of Pitfour in St. James, that the water disruption they are experiencing is as a result of electrical problems at the Fairfield Booster Station.

At the same time, customers in Exchange, Bonham Spring, Bonham Heights, sections of White River, sections of Eltham, Upton and Lancewood are without water, as a result of mechanical problems at the White River Pumping Station.

The NWC’s maintenance team is working fervently to effect the necessary repairs at both facilities and restore water to the affected areas in St. James and St. Ann on Thursday, April 05, 2012.

The NWC thanks its valued customers for their patience and understanding, and will, as an interim measure, truck water to the affected areas in St. James and St. Ann.

The NWC apologizes for any inconvenience this disruption in service may cause.
