Pioneer Manufacturing Distribution Company Limited (PMD) is pleased to announce the sponsorship of netballer Shantal Slater, under Netball Jamaica’s “Adopt a Player” programme.

Under the terms of the sponsorship, PMD will sponsor the netballer for her preparation for 4 months.  In addition to sponsorship for preparation and travelling to the Netball World Cup, Shantal will receive $50,000 from PMD for her own expenses.

As part of their ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility has embraced the programme.  Alfred Thomas, Managing Director of PMD in speaking about the sponsorship said, “We are delighted to be able to participate and in particular, be able to assist in helping a player hone her skills to give us an even better chance of bringing home the trophy”.  The added bonus of being able to expose Shantal to Jamaica on an individual level we hope will boost her career as well as heighten the awareness of our newly re-launched Chloro-Do Bleach Brand. We look forward to continuing to build a strong relationship with Netball Jamaica.”
