Water supply disruption section of St.Thomas & St.catherine to be affected

National Water Commission customers in sections of St. Thomas who are served by the Prospect Deepwell are being advised that they will experience a disruption in their water supply on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm.  This disruption in service is to facilitate mechanical works on the system.

Areas that will be affected include:
Prospect
Lyssons
Leith Hall
Blue Mahoe
Retreat

In the meantime, the company is also reporting that it will be carrying out electrical repairs to the Succaba Pen Well in St. Catherine, on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 between 10:00am and 4:00pm.  

Customers in Claremont Housing scheme, Old Harbour Bay, Bodles, Belmont Park Housing Scheme, Blackwood Gardens, Old Harbour Town, New Harbour Village Phases 1 & 2 who are served by this system will therefore experience an interruption in their service during the hours stipulated.
 
The National Water Commission apologizes for any inconvenience caused and is encouraging customers to store water for use during the period of disruption.
