Water supply disruption sections of St. Catherine & Portland Affected

The National Water Commission is advising customers in sections of St. Catherine who are served by Bybrook Wells 1 & 3 that the disruption they are experiencing in their service is due to a leak on the distribution network. The company is reporting that the necessary repair works are in progress and every effort is being made to restore water supply by later this afternoon

Areas that are affected include:

Bog Walk, Jew Pen, Knollis Booster Plant,Lower Berwick Plant, ShentonPrincessfield, August Town, Cow Gully, High Mountain, West Prospect, Cashew Walk, Riversdale Main Road, sections of Church Road and Burton

In the meantime, the company is also advising that it is currently working on correcting an electrical problem at the Grants Level Well in Portland which is affecting water supply to the following areas:

Port Antonio, Grants Level, Passley Garden, Passley Garden Housing Scheme, Passley Garden Land Settlement, Snow Hill, Gulley Road, Coco Piece Road, Lime Tree Lane, Dragon Bay, Berridale, Fellowship, Stanton, New Road, Boundbroook, Norwich, San San, Tan Hope Prospect District, Drapers, Drapers Heights and Rafters Rest.


The National Water Commission apologizes for any inconvenience caused and is making every effort to restore water supply to its customers at the earliest possible time.
