Students &Youth host Prayer & Concert

The National Secondary Students’ Council in partnership with Hands Across Jamaica for Righteousness, Inter-school Christian Fellowship and the Errol Rattray Evangelistic Association will host a Prayer Rally and Concert on January 22, 2016 to be held 3: 00 pm at Emancipation Park.

According to the NSSC Region One Vice President Mr. Benjamin Fraser, "Indisputably, the schools across Jamaica are ramified conduits of change.” He further stated that “The National Secondary Students' Council recognizes that this is a momentous time in the history of youth empowerment and as such we aspire to maximize on this positive energy.”

The Rally and Concert will be hosted under the theme: "Arise, Building our Nation under God".

Students and youth are encouraged to participate, as this is an opportunity for the nation’s youth to raise their collective voices against critical issues affecting them, such as: child abuse, bullying and violence in schools.

The NSSC is the umbrella organization for Secondary Student Councils across the island and receives financial and technical assistance from the Ministry of Youth & Culture.
