Disruption In Operations At Nutshell Relift Station Affects Regular Water Supply To Sections Of St Catherine

The National Water Commission is advising that the Nutshell Relift Station in St. Catherine is presently out of operation due to challenges at the source that supplies the facility.

The company is indicating that as a result, several other facilities within the network are impacted by disruption.  These include the Ewarton, Cassava Pond, York Street, Mount Rosser and Ivy Booster stations.

Areas affected include: Cotton Piece, Charlemount Housing Scheme, Whitehouse Housing Scheme, Orangefield Village, Ewarton, Mt. Rosser, Waterloo, Ivy, Bennett Shop, Old Mt Diablo, Leslie Road, Cassava Pond, Lluidas Vale Main Road, Charlton Housing Scheme, Polly Ground, York Street, Russel Pen, and sections of Treadways.

The NWC wishes to thank its customers for their continued patience as we work assiduously to restore their regular water supply.
