Broken Water Main Disrupts Water Supply To Sections Of St Andrew Spanish Town Road And Surrounding Areas To Be Affected

The National Water Commission wishes to advise its customers that in order to carry out necessary repairs to a Transmission Main along Spanish Town (near Riverton City) it will be forced to suspend water supply to several communities in St Andrew commencing late this evening, Friday, November 25, 2016.

The Company is indicating that the works are expected to be completed by Sunday, November 27th 2016 and so persons in the affected areas are urged to store for use during the period of disruption.
Areas affected include: Cooreville Gardens, Sections of Washington Gardens, Duhaney Park, Patrick City and Spanish Town Road.

Motorists are also being advised to be mindful of possible traffic delays in the area.

The NWC apologises to its valued customers for any inconvenience that is likely to be caused and seeks to assure them that every effort will be made to restore their supply in the shortest possible time.
