NWC EMERGENCY WORK NOW UNDERWAY IN HOPE PASTURES WATER SUPPLY DISRUPTED BY BROKEN MAIN

The National Water Commission is advising that work is now underway to repair a broken main in the Hope Pastures community of St Andrew.  As a result, it has been necessary to suspend water supply operations at the Hope Pastures Facility. Customers served by the facility will experience no water conditions until the work is completed.

The NWC team is making every effort to complete repairs by this evening, Thursday, September 31, 2017.

Areas Affected: Hope Pastures

Meanwhile, operations have been shut down at the Succaba Pen facility in St. Catherine in order to facilitate repairs to a broken water main.  These works are expected to be completed by this evening, Thursday, September 21, 2017.

Areas Affected: Bowers Pen, Claremont Drive, sections of Old Harbour Town, Bowers Drive, Succaba, Section of Bannister, Old Harbour Bay, Bodles, and Rhone Park H/S.

The NWC apologises to its valued customers for any inconvenience caused and seeks to assure them that every effort will be made to restore regular water supply in the shortest possible time.
