ELECTRICAL ISSUE AFFECTS WATER SUPPLY IN ST. ANN

The National Water Commission (NWC) wishes to advise customers in some sections of St. Ann that as a result of electrical challenges being experienced at two of its facilities, water supply has been disrupted.

The Rosemount Pumping station and Minard Well water supply sources in the parish are out of operation as a result of an internal electrical issue.

Areas affected include:

Bridgewater, Primrose Hill, Discovery Bay Heights, Browns Town, Huntley, Liberty Valley, York Castle, Standfast, Goshen, Minard Hill, Orange Hill and Bennin.

Relevant technical support teams have been advised and are currently working to have these facilities restored to full operational capacity by 5pm, today October 22, 2018.

The NWC regrets any inconvenience caused to its valuable customers.
