Property Owners can conveniently pay their property tax online via the Jamaica Tax
Portal at www.jamaicatax.gov.jm, using a credit card, instead of visiting a tax office.
In addition to the online option, property owners are reminded that property tax
payments can be made at any tax office across the island. Persons paying by cheque
can avail themselves of the electronic drop box facility located in major tax offices.
For property owners who are not sure how much property tax is owed, they are being
reminded of the Property Tax Query Online service. The service allows property owners
to log on to TAJ’s website at www.jamaicatax.gov.jm and enter their valuation
number, to check the status of their property tax, going back seven (7) years.
