The University of Technology, Jamaica has been granted programmatic accreditation by The University Council of Jamaica (UCJ) for more of its academic programmes.
Executive Director of the UCJ, Mrs Althea Heron, formally conveyed the Council’s decision to grant accreditation to four additional programmes in a letter to UTech’s President, Professor Stephen Vasciannie. These programmes are the Master of Science in Built Environment, the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management and the Bachelor of Science in Food Service Management.
Professor Vasciannie presented the letters of accreditation to respective Deans, Heads of Schools and senior leadership at the University in a special ceremony held at the Papine Campus on December 5, 2018.
