U.S. Embassy Closure for Jamaica’s Emancipation Day, Wednesday, August 1, 2012

The Embassy of the United States of America will be closed on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 in observance of Jamaica’s Emancipation Day.

 All parts of the U.S. Mission, including the Consular Section, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Information Resource Centre, United States Agency for International Development (USAID), U.S. Peace Corps offices and the U.S. Consular Agency in Montego Bay, will also be closed on that day.

 The Embassy and its affiliated offices will re-open for business on Thursday, August 2nd.
