Christopher Zacca President of The Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ), has congratulated Jamaica’s team of athletes and the entire Jamaican delegation, for their awe-inspiring performance at the recently-concluded 30th staging of the Olympic Games in London.
According to Mr. Zacca, the stellar performance of Jamaica’s athletes has not only united all Jamaicans at home and in the Diaspora at a time when the island is celebrating its 50th year of Independence, but has also elevated “Brand Jamaica” to an all-time high.
“ Over the last two weeks, Jamaicans around the world felt a new sense of pride in the accomplishments of our athletes, their coaches and support personnel. The positive focus on Jamaica is incalculable and we must now find a way to capitalise on the positive brand image brought about by these incredible performances. The members of the PSOJ stand ready to play our part in helping Jamaica’s young people realise their tremendous potential, not only in the field of athletics but indeed in entrepreneurship and other career pursuits, as we look forward to the future.”
