Eat. Drink. Savour The Cities

Stephanie Scott's vision expands to the North Coast

This year it's Eat. Drink. Savour the Cities. And the big news is that Kingston Restaurant Week has rebranded as Restaurant Week and expanded to Montego Bay and Ocho Rios. So perhaps Stephanie Scott takes her vision further afield. Yesterday Kingston, Today Montego Bay and Ocho Rios. Tomorrow...?

Evita's Italian Restaurant

SSCo Event Management and The Gleaner Company have once again joined forces to present the Fifth Annual Restaurant Week, November 7 - 14 when 45 of Jamaica's best restaurants will offer specially selected three-course, fixed price dinner menus at significantly discounted prices.

Familiarly known as Kingston Restaurant Week, the organizers have expanded the concept this year to the island's north coast cities and rebrands as Restaurant Week.

Spanning three cities: Kingston, Montego Bay and Ocho Rios, Restaurant Week will give diners more opportunities to share in one of the island's most celebrated culinary experiences.

The menus, which offer a minimum 30% discount, are all very enticing, and offer patrons an affordable way to try new restaurants or return to old favourites while experiencing significant savings.

All participating restaurants will offer a choice of pre-selected three-course dinner menus. Restaurants will offer three-course meals (appetizer, main course and dessert) in one of three categories: "Tasty" dinner menus are $1,350, "Savory" $1,600, "Delectable" meals are $3,000 and "Epicurean" experiences are available for $3,500. Prices are per person, and do not include beverages, GCT (tax) or gratuity.

In addition,Restaurant Week will once again include an "after hours" promotion whereby patrons of Restaurant Week will be given a cocktail 'on the house' at participating Kingston nightclubs.

" I am particularly excited that the inclusion of Ocho Rios and Montego Bay will allow more visitors to partake in the " spice of our heritage " through our cuisine and the variety of our restaurants " comments Stephanie Scott, Managing Director SSCO.

Restaurant Week is sponsored by The Gleaner Company, Trade Winds Citrus Company Ltd, RBTT Bank, Jamaica Trade and Invest, NORGE Seafood from Norway, The Stewarts Automotive Group, and Cafe Blue.

Restaurant Week is endorsed by The Jamaica Tourist Board. Promotional sponsors are The Craft Cottage and Busha Browne/Walker's Wood, Ltd.
