Margaritaville - MoBay

Margaritaville is the brainchild of two young Jamaican guys, Brian Jardim and Ian Dear. With years of experience between them in the hospitality industry and real estate development, they decided the time was right for a fun and exciting place that the whole family could enjoy and where both locals and visitors could relax and have a good time.

First opened in Montego Bay, Margarittaville then spread to Negril. In 2000, Brian and Ian began negotiations with legendary singer Jimmy Buffet to become the Caribbean franchise holders for Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville at Sangster International Airport. Today, the largest outlet is Margaritaville Ocho Rios, which opened in February 2002, located on the beach at the Island Village entertainment and shopping complex.

Margaritaville has also expanded outside Jamaica’s shores and also has branches in Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands and Grand Turk in Turks and Caicos Islands.
